whereby the petitioner has not been permitted to retire from service from afternoon of 31.08.2015 A.N. and to quash the same and consequently direct the respondents to permit the petitioner to retire from service and pay all the service benefits and retirement benefits. ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed challenging the impugned order with the consequential relief to permit the petitioner to retire from service and pay all the service benefits and retirement benefits.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that the disciplinary proceedings was initiated against the petitioner and he was dismissed from service. Therefore, nothing survives for adjudication. The petitioner is at liberty to challenge the dismissal order. 2/4

3. With the above said observation, this Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
