ORDER

The petitioner, with a grievance that the respondent Police has not even examined the petitioner/defacto complainant in Crime No.608 of 2025 for the past one month, has filed this petition, seeking a direction to transfer the investigation from the file of the 2nd respondent to the file of the 3rd respondent Police.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor fairly submits that the investigation is at the initial stage by recording the observation Mahazar and the sketch. They are yet to proceed with the investigation. He further submits that they are concentrating on the old cases and therefore, they have not paid attention for the new cases. They will pay attention to this case also and conduct the investigation in a proper manner.

3. Recording the submissions of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is closed with a direction to the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Valliyoor Sub Division, Tirunelveli District, to monitor the investigation. The respondent Police shall ensure 2/4
