The petitioner herein is figuring as an accused in Crime No.33 of 2016 registered on the file of Athirampattinam police station, Thanjavur District.

2. The petitioner herein seeks transfer of investigation in the said case. According to him, the two wheeler ridden by him was involved in an accident. But the car driver who caused the accident had filed the complaint. But then, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) states that the investigation in the criminal case registered against the petitioner has been stopped.
