ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders to direct the third respondent to give adequate Police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner and his family members.

2. Against owner of the property, the petitioner made a complaint. According to the petitioner, he is a lease holder of the property in Survey No.673 to an extent of 3.62 Acres situated at Karukattankulam, Uthamaplayam Taluk, Theni District. During the lease period, the private respondents tried to enter into the above said property and made trouble to him. Based upon which, a complaint was given by the petitioner, a case has been registered in Crime No.455 of 2023 for the offences punishable under Sections 406, 420, 294(b), 506(ii) IPC on 07.10.2023. 2/4

3. Since it is the issue between the owner of the property and the lease holder, I find no reason to provide Police protection for the purpose of maintaining the above said property. If the private respondents make any trouble to hand over the possession, the petitioner can very well maintain the civil process.

4. With the above said liberty, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
