The petitioners are facing trial in C.C.No.157 of 2016 on the file Judicial Magistrate No.1, Karur, have now transferred to Additional Mahila Court, Karur and renumbered as C.C.No.4 of 2020 for matrimonial offences.

CRL OP(MD). No.9796 of 2016 3.Leaving open the contentions and defence of the petitioners, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. However, the learned Additional Mahila Court, Karur is directed to expedite the disposal of C.C.No.4 of 2020 within a period of two months. The personal appearance of the petitioners before the Court below is also dispensed with. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
