This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for quashing the impugned First Information Report in Crime No.247 of 2014 on the file of the first respondent.

2.When the matter was taken up for final disposal, the learned counsel for the petitioner states that the issue has already been resolved between the parties. But then there is no appearance on behalf of the second respondent before this Court. The learned counsel for the petitioner also expressed his difficulties in reaching out to the petitioner.

CRL OP(MD). No.9822 of 2016 3.On the other hand, the learned Government Advocate submitted that the investigation is over and the final report is also ready.

4.This Court, by taking note of the learned counsel for the petitioner's submissions, directs the first respondent to summon the second respondent herein and find out if really the matter has been amicably resolved or not. If the matter has amicably resolved, the question of filing final report does not arise. If the seocnd respondent states that there is no compromise, the first respondent will proceed with the case, in the manner known to law. 5.With this direction to the first respondent, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
