This petition has been filed to quash the proceeding in MC.No.4/2018/A2, dated 18.05.2018 issued by the first respondent as against the petitioners.

2.The petitioners filed this petition to challenge the show cause notice issued against them under Section 111 of Cr.P.C. The said notice was issued in the month of May, 2018. The period for https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P.(MD)No.10257 of 2018 the proceedings under Section 111 of Cr.P.C. is only for one year. Now, almost 1 1⁄2 years have been lapsed and hence, the prayer sought for by the petitioner become infructuous. 3.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
