Criminal Original Petition is filed Under Section 482 of Cr.P.C.,to direct the Judicial Magistrate-I,Kumbakonam to dispose of STC.No.1743 of 2019 expeditiously within a time frame as may be directed by this Court.

ORDER:- This Civil Revision Petition coming on for hearing on this day under the caption for "Extension of time"and upon perusing the earlier order dated 19.11.2021 & 01/12/2021 and the requisition letter submitted by the Judicial Magistrate No.I,Kumbakonam, vide the letter in D.No.1945/B.C-3/2021 dated 14.12.2023, this Court made the following order:

This Court directed the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Kumbakonam to dispose of the cases in S.T.C.No.1743 of 2019 and S.T.C.No.1744 of 2019 within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Subsequently, based on the request of the Court below, it was extended one time. Now the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Kumbakonam has sought for extension of time of three months.

2. This Court is satisfied with the reasons stated by the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Kumbakonam and therefore, three months time is granted to dispose of the cases in S.T.C.No.1743 of 2019 and S.T.C.
