ORDER
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents.
2.The writ petitioner retired as District Manager (Retail Vending), Tamil Nadu State Marketing Corporation Limited, Karur on 30.06.2015. However, disciplinary action initiated against him was pending on the date of retirement. They were continued under Rule 9 of the Tamil Nadu Pension Rules, 1978. The said disciplinary action has since been quashed by this Court. Therefore, the pension proposal in respect of the writ petitioner will have to be finalized. All that the petitioner seeks is that the respondents herein must forward the same to the Accountant General, Chennai.
3.No exception can be taken to the said request. Based on the submission of the learned Special Government Pleader, I direct the respondents to send the petitioner's pension proposal to the Accountant General, Chennai within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4
