ORDER

This petition has been filed to quash the FIR in Crime No.68 of 2019 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Kanyakumari Police Station, Kanyakumari District.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the first respondent would submit that on the complaint lodged by the second respondent, the respondent police registered a case in Crime No.68 of 2019 for the offences under Sections 294 (b), 506 (ii) of IPC and Section 4 of Tamilnadu Prohibition of Harassment of Woman Act, 2002, and Section 4 of Tamilnadu Prohibition of Charging Exorbitant Interest Act, 2003. After completion of investigation, they filed a final report before the concerned Judicial Magistrate and the same is pending for taken cognizance. Crl.O.P.(MD) No.14314 of 2019 sought for by the petitioner has become infructuous.

3. Recording the said submission, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the final report. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
