[Order of the Court was made by R.MAHADEVAN, J.] The prayer in this writ petition is for issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 2 to remove the encroachment made by the third respondent in the land comprised in Survey No.286/5A, in Jothi Nagar, Puthusukkampatti Village, Melur Taluk, Madurai, which is classified as a common pathway, based on the petitioner's representations dated 18.10.2017 and 12.06.2018, in accordance with law, within a time stipulated by this Court.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2, on

instructions, submitted that there is no encroachment made by the third respondent in the subject land, as projected by the petitioner.

3. Recording the above submission of the learned Special Government Pleader and leaving it open to the petitioner to approach the authority concerned, if any further encroachment is noticed, the writ petition is closed. No costs.
