ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/Sole Accused, apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 406, 420 IPC, 1/3

1960, in Crime No.333 of 2023 on the file of the respondent Police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the entire amount has been settled between the parties. The joint compromise memo is also filed by the petitioner and the second respondent. The terms and conditions of the settlement are follows:

'The dispute between the petitioner and the second respondent/ defacto complainant settled in the Mediation Centre and the petitioner is agreed to pay a sum of Rs.2,50,000/- and the defacto complainant is also accepted the same. The petitioner paid Rs.1,00,000/- to the second respondent through RTGS on 11.09.2023 and paid the balance amount of Rs.1,50,000/- by way of State Bank of India, Anna Nagar Branch, Chennai through Demand Draft No.278948, dated 21.09.2023. Now the second respondent/ defacto complainant is ready to withdraw the Criminal Case in Crime No.333 of 2023 on the file of the first respondent herein.'

4. Since the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the parties are coming from Chennai, let the statements of the parties be recorded today by the respondent, who is present before this Court and close the above said First Information Report filed against the petitioner. 2/3

5. With the above said development, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
