Respondents PRAYER :- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the Respondents No.1 to 4 to refix the salary of the Petitioner after the addition of appropriate annual increments including that of the benefits under 7th Pay Commission within the time limit as fixed by this Court as per the order passed in W.P.(MD) No.20002 of 2014. ORDER

By consent of both sides, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

This writ petition has been filed for a Mandamus directing the respondents No.1 to 4 to refix the salary of the petitioner after the addition of appropriate annual increments including that of the benefits under 7th Pay Commission within the time limit as fixed by this Court as per the order passed in W.P.(MD) No.20002 of 2014. 2/5

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner is working as Assistant Teacher in the 5th respondent school right from 1988. She was suspended and subsequently reinstated. However, she was not sanctioned with the annual increments as per the order of this order and she is working without increment for the past eighteen years and hence, she submitted a representation to the respondents 1 to 4 to refix her salary by including the annual increments as per the 7th pay commission. Since the said representation was not considered, the petitioner is before this Court.

4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner.

5. The learned Additional Government Pleader would submit that the representation of the petitioner would be considered and orders would be passed.

6. Considering the limited scope of the matter, without adverting to 3/5

the merits or the contentions made, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents 1 to 4 to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 26.05.2025 on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
