ORDER

The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the first and second respondents to initiate action and cancel a sale deed as per circular No.67 of 2011.

2. The learned Additional Government Pleader brought to the notice of the Court that circular No.67 of 2011 has already been recalled by the Court and a new circular has been issued. Apart from that the Registration Act has undergone various amendments in the year 2022, wherein provisions have been made for cancellation of a fraudulent document. In view of the subsequent legal developments, the present writ petition stands closed with liberty to the writ petitioner to approach the authorities under the Registration Act under the relevant provisions of the amended Act.

3. The writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
