Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records relating to the order passed by the 2nd respondent in Proc.R.No. 11077/A2/2021, dated 01.10.2022 and consequential order of the 3rd respondent in Na.Ka.No.7216/A2/2023, dated 07.06.2023 and to quash the same as illegal and consequently, to direct the 3rd respondent to permit the petitioner to ply the vehicle bearing registration number TN 67 C 4833 till the permit period.

O R D E R

This writ petition is filed for writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records relating to the order passed by the 2nd responden, dated 01.10.2022 and consequential order of the 3rd respondent, dated 07.06.2023 and to quash the same as illegal and consequently, to direct the 3rd respondent to permit the petitioner to ply the vehicle bearing registration number TN 67 C 4833 till the permit period. 2.The petitioner's permit period is available until 19.12.2025. The respondents did not allow the petitioner's vehicle to ply, since the petitioner failed to pay the tax for the quarterly. 3/6

3.Pending writ petition, the petitioner has paid the taxes. Therefore, there is no impediment to allow the petitioner to ply the vehicle. Therefore, the respondents are directed to allow the petitioner to ply the vehicle and thereafter, shall take appropriate steps for extension as per law.

4.With the above said observation, the writ petition is allowed. No costs.
