Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 2 to take appropriate action against the respondents 3 & 4 for illegally detaining the petitioner's son Devendran, aged 18 years on 13.10.2015 from 10.00 a.m. to 09.00 p.m. at the 4th respondent police station and consequently directing the respondents 3 t& 4 not to interfere with the physical possession and enjoyment of the landed property in Survey No.287/A, 287/B, 287/C measuring an extent of 3.55 acres in which thar plant and cursher unit machineries are attached and direct the respondents 5 & 6 to pay compensation for the illegal detention of the petitioner's son and pass such further or other orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case. O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to take appropriate action against the respondents 3 to 4 for illegally detaining the petitioner's son Devendran, aged 18 years on 13.10.2015 from 10.00 a.m. to 09.00 p.m. at the 4th respondent police station and consequently directing the respondents 3 and 4 not to interfere with the physical possession and enjoyment of the landed property in Survey No.287/A, 287/B, 287/C measuring an extent of 3.55 acres in which thar plant and cursher unit machineries are attached and to direct the respondents 5 & 6 to pay compensation for the illegal detention of the petitioner's son. 2.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondent police submitted that on the complaint lodged by the petitioner the respondent police has conducted detailed enquiry and after recording the statement of the petitioner, further action was dropped and the complaint had been closed.

3.Recording the above said submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), this writ petition is devoid of merits and stands dismissed. No costs.
