O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representations dated 28.06.2022 and 04.07.2022 and consequently direct the first respondent to cancel the two fraudulent pattas issued by the third respondent dated 28.05.2021 and 23.05.2022 in Natham land Survey No. 42/4 situated at Inam Asoor Village, Kumbakonam Taluk.

2. The Tahsildar, Kumbakonam, the second respondent herein has filed a counter stating that the first respondent will follow the procedures laid down in Revenue Standing Orders. The contention of the petitioner 2/5

to cancel the patta does not hold good without producing any reliable and valid documentary evidences. Without any valid documents the petitioner is creating scenario of his enjoyment and possession as the owner of the property which cannot be admitted in the eye of law.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 and the learned counsel appearing for the respondents 4 to 6.

4. Considering the above facts, this Court directs the petitioner to produce all the relevant documents before the first respondent within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and on receipt of the same, the first respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 04.07.2022 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
