ORDER
The petitioner with a grievance that her complaint has not been addressed by the respondent Police has filed this petition seeking a direction to the respondent Police to take action on her complaint. 2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the official respondents submits that the petitioner has already lodged a complaint and the same has been treated as petition enquiry in CSR.No.395 of 2024 and it was also closed on 15.07.2024. Thereafter, the petitioner lodged another complaint, dated 30.06.2025 before the first respondent and the same was also forwarded to the second respondent, on 07.07.2025 for enquiry. Further, he submits that the enquiry is pending on the file of the second respondent and they are likely to complete the same within a week.

3.Recording the above submission, this writ petition is closed with a direction to the second respondent Police to conduct the enquiry and complete the same, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If the complaint of the petitioner has made out any cognizable offence, the respondent Police shall register a criminal case or else close the complaint. In the event, if the complaint of the petitioner is closed, a copy of the closure report should be furnished to the petitioner enabling her to workout her remedy in the manner known to law. 05.08.2025 NCC : Yes / No Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes / No gns 3/5
