Mr.K.R.Badurus Zaman, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents 1 and 2 and Mr.K.S.Selvaganesan, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the third respondent. 2.The writ petition has been filed for a Mandamus to direct the first respondent to dispose of the petitioner's appeal, dated 21.07.2025, filed under Section 11 of Tamil Nadu Tender Transparency Act, 1998. 3.The petitioner is a lessee of shop No.6 in Udangudi Bus Stand. It is informed that the bus-stand is proposed to be demolished and a new construction is proposed to be made.

4.The learned Government Advocate for the respondents 1 and 2 submits that a work order has already been issued on 28.07.2025, although an appeal is said to be pending before the first respondent. 5.At best, the petitioner can only make a request for allotment of shop in terms of Part II of the Tamil Nadu Urban and Local Bodies Rules, 2023. The appeal of the petitioner dated 21.07.2025 pending before the first respondent shall be disposed of on its turn as expeditiously as possible. However, the petitioner shall deliver the vacant space to the respondents within a period of 15 days from today, as the work order has already been issued on 28.07.2025 for demolition. The petitioner is entitled to participate in the proposed tender as and when new shops are ready.
6.With the aforesaid directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. Index : Yes / No 31.07.2025 Internet : Yes / No mm 3/5
