ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent Police for the alleged offence under Sections 417, 376, 506(i) of IPC and Section 5(L) r/w. 6 1/3

of POCSO ACt, in Crime No.179 of 2024, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner by giving false promise to marry the victim girl, had sexual intercourse with her. Thereafter, he refused to marry her. Hence, the complaint.

3. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the material records of the case.

4. Considering the nature of allegation against the petitioner that he had a relationship with the victim girl and had physical relationship even when she was a child and considering the fact that after continuous cohabitation, the petitioner left her to marry some other person, this is not a fit case for grant of anticipatory bail.
