ORDER

The petitioner is figuring as A.19 in S.C.No.6 of 2013 on the file of learned Subordinate Assistant Sessions Judge, Muthukulathur, Ramanathapuram District. The petitioner wants this Court to direct the trial Court to expedite the proceedings. No exception can be taken to this request. The FIR is of the year 2009. The committal proceedings were concluded and the matter came before the Sessions Judge in the year 2013 itself. More than 8 years have elapsed. The trial has also commenced. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) states that the trial can be concluded within a period of 6 months.
