[Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble CHIEF JUSTICE] We have heard Mr.R.Babu Jaganath, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.T.Amjadkhan, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 and Mr.R.Anand, learned counsel for the 4th respondent. There is no appearance for the 5th respondent. 2.
Learned counsel for the 4th respondent submits that the licence of the respondents 4 and 5 for excavation has lapsed in the year 2021 and since 2021, the respondents 4 and 5 are not engaged in any excavation activity. 3.
Learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 submits that the licence of the private respondents expired on 27.05.2021
and a complaint was received regarding illegal excavation of soil. He would further submit that an enquiry would be conducted on the said complaint and action will be taken expeditiously.
