PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to give a police protection for the petitioner's life and limb of petitioner's property in S.No.56, Siruganur Group, Kodikulam Village, Devakottai Taluk, Sivagangai District measuring to an extent and petitioner's representation dated 28.07.2023 and in accordance with law. For Petitioner :Mr.K.K.Udayakumar For R1 to R4 :Mr.B.Thanga Aravindh Government Advocate (crl.side) O RDER This Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure seeking police protection against the unofficial respondent Nos.5 to 9.
2.It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner's land was notified as forest land. Accordingly, he approached the Forest Officials and filed W.P.(MD) No.10768 of 2023 before this Court, wherein a direction was given directing the Forest Officials not to disturb the possession of the petitioner pending the appeal. According to the petitioner, the appeal is stated to be still pending. It is submitted further that the unofficial respondent 2/5
Nos.5 to 9 have been trying to disposes the petitioner and therefore, sought for suitable directions.
3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) submits that the complaint filed by the petitioner is registered as CSR.No.505 of 2023 dated 22.08.2023 and an enquiry is being initiated and requested time to complete the enquiry. 4.In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, the respondent police are directed to complete the enquiry in respect of CSR.No. 505 of 2023 as expeditiously as possible, not later than two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
