ORDER
This writ petition is filed for issuing a writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to rectify the name of the father as 'Abdul Majeed' in stead of 'Mohamed Bazeer' in the petitioner's son's school Transfer Certificate.
2.The petitioner states that she noticed that the name of her husband in the Transfer Certificate issued to the petitioner's son is different. It is stated that instead of Abdul Majeed the name of petitioner's husband has been wrongly mentioned as Mohamed Bazeer. Hence, to correct the school records, the petitioner submitted a representation on 15.10.2015 before the respondents. Since the representation is not considered, the petitioner has approached this Court.
3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner will be satisfied if a direction is issued to the respondents 4 and 5 to consider the petitioner's representation. 4.Having regard to the limited scope of the prayer that is now sought before this Court by the learned counsel for the petitioner, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representation, this Court is inclined to issue the following directions to the respondents 4 and 5. (i)The respondents 4 and 5 is directed to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 15.10.2015 regarding correction of the name of petitioner's husband in the school Transfer Certificate of petitioner's son and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law after giving opportunity to the petitioner to put forth her case and pass appropriate orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of this order.
5.With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
