ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioners/Accused Nos.1 and 2, apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent Police for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 379 IPC in Crime No.296 of 2023 on the file of the respondent Police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that on 22.07.2023 at about 5.00 a.m., the defacto complainant found his cow was found missing. On 23.07.2023 at about 4.00 a.m., he found his cow in cow market, Ottanchatram. Based on the information he received, he lodged the complaint against the petitioners.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners are innocent and are falsely implicated in this case.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the accused persons were identified by the CCTV footage captured by some one and the same was verified by the defacto complainant. Further, the above said cow was recovered. The second petitioner is having five previous cases and first petitioner is having no previous cases.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of this case, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.
