O R D E R

The present Writ Petition has been filed by an Assistant Engineer working in the TANGEDCO seeking a Mandamus directing the respondents to disburse the additional charge allowances for the period between 01.07.2021 and 13.06.2023.

2. According to the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner, when the petitioner was working as an Assistant Engineer Operation and Maintenance, he was placed full additional charges to Assistant 110 KVSS for 2/5

the above said period. Part of the additional charge allowances has also been paid to him. However, the balance amount has not been paid.

3. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents submits that the petitioner's request would be considered on merits.

4. Considering the above said facts, the second respondent is directed to consider the request of the petitioner dated 12.08.2024 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above said observation, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently connected Miscellaneous Petition stands closed.
