ORDER

The case of the petitioner is that on 29.10.2013, he has purchased 40 cents of land in S.No.147/1B1, 147/1C1, Madakudi Village, Lalgudi Taluk, Trichy District from one Mahalingam. When he had presented the document for registration, the second respondent/the Sub Registrar, Lalgudi, has refused to register the document. Therefore, he has filed this writ petition for a Mandamus, directing the second respondent to register the sale deed dated 29.10.2013.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing 29.01.2024, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Government Pleader requested for a short accommodation 2/4

to ascertain the present stage of case and at their request, the matter was adjourned. Thereafter, when the writ petition was listed for further hearing on 12.02.2024, there was no representation for the petitioner. Therefore, the writ petition was directed to be listed under the caption "For Dismissal" today. Even today, there is no representation for the petitioner.

3. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submits that the subject property sought to be registered is the property of Kalaimagal Sabha, which is under the control of Special Officer appointed as per the direction issued by the Principal Seat of this Court in W.P.Nos.43650 of 2006 and 22557 to 22571 of 2011.

4. Recording the said submission, this writ petition is closed. No costs.
