Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records in connection with the impugned recruitment notification No. 11/MRB/2025 dated 10.07.2025 issued by the 4th respondent herein quash the same as illegal and consequently directing the respondents 1 to 4 herein to conduct the scheme of selection for the post of Lab Technician Grade -II on par with the scheme of selection followed for the post of Pharmacist and Lab Technician grade-III. ORDER

This writ petition has been filed challenging the impugned recruitment notification No.11/MRB/2025 dated 10.07.2025 issued by the 4th respondent herein quash the same as illegal and consequently directing the respondents 1 to 4 herein to conduct the scheme of selection for the post of Lab Technician Grade -II on par with the scheme of selection followed for the post of Pharmacist and Lab Technician gradeIII. 2/6

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the materials placed before this Court.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that challenge against the recruitment notification for the post of Laboratory Technician Grade - II is only on the ground that the persons, who have rendered services during Covid-19 pandemic period were not awarded weightage mark, whereas the feeder category post of Lab Technician Grade III are provided with weightage marks.

4. Now, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner confines his prayer that it would suffice if he is permitted to make a fresh representation to the concerned authorities seeking to provide weightage marks for the persons, who have rendered services during Covid-19 pandemic period.

5. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Court directs the petitioner to make a fresh representation seeking to provide weightage marks for the persons, who have rendered services during Covid-19 pandemic period, within a 3/6

period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and on receipt of the same, concerned authority shall consider the same and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks thereafter.

6. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
