O R D E R

This writ petitioner filed this Writ Petition seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 not to accord permission to conduct Vinayagar Chathurthi festival at Selva Vinayagar Temple, which is situated in petitioner's private land in S.No.1470/18 at Chettiyar Nadutheru, Sathankulam Taluk, Thoothukudi District, based on the petitioner's representation, dated 20.08.2024 within the time limit that may be stipulated by this Court.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State would submit that on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner, CSR.No.536 of 2024 came to be registered and at the time of enquiry, the petitioner has agreed to give his land for cooking purpose only and on that basis, the complaint was ordered to be closed.
