PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to acquire the land for doubling the Track between Madurai to Tuticorin after following the due process of law with respect to the Survey No.20 in Ward-D Block-8 (Old Survey Nos.462/A, 463/A, 464/1A and 467/A1, measuring an extent of 1417.61 Sq.meters between KM 585/6-10), by issuing notice and inviting objections and to provide alternate accommodation and pay compensation to the petitioner school.
