The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking a direction to the respondents Nos.3 & 4 to initiate appropriate action to remove the encroachment in Survey No.149/12, Thenpalanji Village, Thirupparakundram Taluk, Madurai District, made by the fifth respondent by considering the representation dated 04.09.2023 and the consequent communication of the fourth respondent in Na.Ka.No.392/2022/The2, dated 27.05.2024 within the period stipulated by this Court.

2. The Revenue Tahsildar, by his written instructions dated 04.03.2025, has submitted that the records for the land in Survey No.149/19 do not indicate that any patta was issued, which is a Government land and therefore, they are taking necessary steps to remove the encroachments made by the sixth respondent.

3. In view of the written instructions dated 04.03.2025 of the Revenue Tahsildar, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction the third respondent to initiate appropriate proceedings for removal of the encroachments made in the subject land and ensure that the encroachments are removed from the subject land within a period of twelve weeks from the

date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
