Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 26.08.2019. For Petitioner :

This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 26.08.2019.

2.The petitioner claims himself a hereditary poojari of Petha Perumal Temple, Kalingipatti Village, Trichy District. According to the petitioner, he entrusted the administration of the temple to the third respondent. When he came back India and asked for key of the temple, the third respondent resisted and refused to give it back to the petitioner. Immediately, the petitioner made a representation to the first and second respondents, dated 26.08.2019 for conduct of enquiry and the same is pending. Aggrieved over the same, the petitioner is before this Court.

W.P.(MD) No.21178 of 2019 3.Heard Mr.V.R.Shanmuganathan, learned Special Government Pleader, appearing for the respondents 1 & 2, who would submit that the respondents 1 & 2 are ready to consider the representation of the petitioner.

4. In view of the limited prayer sought for in this writ petition, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 26.08.2019 on its own merits and take further action in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Such an exercise shall be done after giving due opportunity to the petitioner as well as other interested parties.

6. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
