Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 2 to provide relief under the Chief Minister Public Relief Fund to the petitioner by considering her representation dated 19.08.2019.

ORDER
This writ petition has been filed seeking for issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 2 to provide relief under the Chief Minister Public Relief Fund to the petitioner by considering her representation dated 19.08.2019.
2. It is the case of the petitioner that since her husband died in a road accident, she has submitted a representation to the respondents seeking the relief under the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister's Public relief Fund. However, the said representation has not been considered so far. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court by way of the above writ petition. The petitioner has also produced Government Order in G.O. (Ms).NO.141, Home (Tr.IV) Department, dated 24.02.2014 in respect of her claim.
3. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.
4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 19.08.2019 in the light of the G.O.(Ms).NO.141, Home (Tr.IV) Department, dated 24.02.2014 and disburse the amount of Rs.1,00,000/- to the petitioner within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. 19.11.2025 NCC : Yes/No Index : Yes/No Internet:Yes Rmk
