O RDER This Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure seeking for quashment of FIR in Crime No.32 of 2015 on the file of the Inspector of Police, District Crime Branch, Trichy. 2.It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that on a complaint given by the defacto complainant, though the police have registered a case in Crime No.32 of 2015 for the offences punishable under Sections 406 and 420 IPC dated 16.12.2015, the investigation has not been proceeded with and final report has not been filed and therefore, sought for intervening and passing of suitable directions.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) submits that the police have completed the investigation in this case and final report is filed closing the crime as 'action dropped' on 06.01.2016 itself and reported that no case is pending against the petitioner in Crime No.32 of 2015 pertaining to the respondent No.1 police station. The same is recorded.

4.Since the very purpose, for which this petition is filed, has already been fulfilled on account of the closure of the investigation by the police, no further orders can be passed in this case. Accordingly, this Petition is closed. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
