2. The writ petitioner is employed as Driver in the respondent Corporation. For conducting marriage of his daughter, the petitioner wants to withdraw a sum of Rs.6,50,000/- out of his own contribution to the Provident Fund account.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Standing counsel submitted that the petitioner is eligible to withdraw a sum of Rs.3,70,000/-.

4. Recording the said submission, I direct the respondent to permit the petitioner to withdraw a sum of Rs.3,70,000/- (Rupees Three Lakhs and Seventy Thousand only) from the petition mentioned account forthwith and without any delay. This writ petition stands allowed on these terms. No costs.
