ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed for a direction to the respondents to take urgent action for the disbursement of withheld amount of DCRG of Rs.1,50,000/-, within a specified time frame that may be fixed by this Court.

2.Mr.V.Anand, learned Government Advocate takes notice on behalf of the respondents. By consent of both parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner was appointed as Record Clerk in the third respondent Union and retired from service on 30.06.2014, on attaining the age of superannuation. The respondents have not paid the terminal benefits to the petitioner. According to the petitioner, no disciplinary proceedings or criminal case is pending against him. In such circumstances, the petitioner has sent a representation, dated 18.04.2018, to the respondents. However, no https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD) No.21171 of 2019 order is passed thereon. Hence, the petitioner has come out with the present Writ Petition.

4.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

5.Considering the nature of relief sought for in the Writ Petition, without deciding the issues on merits, the respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 18.04.2018, on merits and pass orders in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
