PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying to direct the first respondent police to provide adequate police protection for the petitioner's life and limb on the representation made by the petitioner on 26.09.2019 and his property and also take action as against the fourth respondent. ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking direction to direct the first and second respondent police to provide adequate police protection for the petitioner's life and limb on the representation made by the petitioner on 26.09.2019 and his property and also take action as against the fourth respondent

2. It is seen that the petitioner's brother wife filed a suit in O.S.No.47 of 2015 on the file of the Sub Court, Sivakasi . While it was pending, the fourth respondent trespassed into the property of the petitioner with the intention to grab the entire property and as such she lodged a complinat on 26.09.2019, in which the third respondent conducted enquiry and the same was closed as civil in nature.

3. At this juncture, police protection cannot be granted. Hence this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. However, petitioner is at liberty to work out his remedy before the civil court as against the fourth respondent in the manner known to law.
