O R D E R

The petitioner had a sister. They are the only legal heirs of the deceased father. His sister also died. The sister's legal representatives were probably more vigilant and they had applied for transfer of patta of the lands which the petitioner and his sister had inherited from their father. These lands are situated at S.No.944/5, Mannavanur Village, Kodaikanal Taluk, Dindigul District. The patta was transferred from the name of the father to the legal heirs of the sister and the grievance of the petitioner is that his name had been omitted in the patta. A representation, dated 17.09.2021 had been given by the petitioner herein to the District Collector raising objections. The said representation had been forwarded to the second respondent/Revenue Divisional Officer, Kodaikanal, Dindigul District.

The second respondent had issued notice to all the parties concerned more particularly to the petitioner herein calling for an enquiry on 27.10.2021. 2.Mr.S.Shanmugavel, learned Additional Government Pleader, appears on behalf of all the respondents. The learned Additional Government Pleader states that the petitioner had actually attended https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.

W.P(MD)No.20772 of 2021 the enquiry. An obligation is placed on the second respondent/Revenue Divisional Officer, Kodaikanal, Dindigul District to pass necessary orders on or before 31.12.2021 and communicate the same to the petitioner and also the other individuals in whose name the patta now stands as on today.

3.With the above observations, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
