PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, praying this Court to call for the records in C.C.No.11 of 2019 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Melur and quash the same. ORDER

When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner represented that the legal heirs of the deceased defacto complainant was not traced out. In spite of the best efforts, they could not 1/4

trace the legal heirs of the deceased. In such circumstances, the case may be disposed with a direction to expedite the trial proceedings within a stipulated time.

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent represented that some of the main witnesses also died and the case is pending for examination of the witnesses.

3.In view of the above said representation, without going into the merits, it is appropriate to direct the trial Court to complete the trial within a period of three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 4.In view of the above, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
