Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a Writ of Certiorari, to call for records pertaining to the impugned charge memo, dated 19.10.2015 in Thandanaipatti No.126/2015 issued by the 2nd respondent and quash the same.

The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the writ petitioner made a submission that enquiry proceedings has already been commenced and the writ petitioner is also participated in the enquiry proceedings. Therefore, he seeks permission to withdraw this Writ Petition and he has also made an endorsement to that effect in the Court bundle.

2.This being the factum, the writ petitioner is at liberty to defend his case by filing the particulars and by producing the documents, if required.

3.Thus, the enquiry is to be concluded by affording an opportunity to the writ petitioner as contemplated under the Tamil Nadu Civil Services (Discipline and Appeal) Rules, and the Competent Authorities are directed to conclude the enquiry as expeditiously as possible.

4.With these observations, the writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
