The Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the FIR in Crime No. 253 of 2018 on the file of the first respondent police as against the petitioner for the offences under Sections 294(b), 323 and 506(1) of IPC.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) would submit that the respondent police has completed investigation and filed final report before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Periyakulam and the same has been taken cognizance in C.C. No. 213 of 2019 was ended in acquittal. The statement is recorded.

3. Recording the aforesaid statement, the prayer sought for by the petitioner has become infructuous. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
