ORDER

The relief sought for in the present writ petition is to direct the respondents to provide a suitable alternative employment to the writ petitioner by taking note of his illness and educational qualifications with pay protection, continuity of service and wages from 14.11.2014 and all other attendant benefits in accordance with Sec 47(1) of the Persons with Disabilities (Equal Opportunities, Protection of Rights and Full Participation) Act, 1995. 2.It is brought to the notice of this Court that the competent Medical Board declared that the petitioner is not fit to perform the duties of the post of Driver. However, the respondents considered the case of the writ peitioner and provided an alternative employment with effect from May-2017 and the petitioner is working as Security Guard for the past about 3 1⁄2 years. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD).No.20235 of 2015 3.In view of the fact that the grievance of the writ petitioner has already been redressed, no further adjudication is required in the present writ petition. Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands closed. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
