ORDER

The order, dated 19.11.2014 regulating the period of suspension as eligible leave including EOL to the extent, if necessary, is under challenge in the present writ petition. 2.The petitioner was working as Grade-I Police Constable and on account of certain allegations, departmental disciplinary proceedings were initiated under Rule 3(b) of the Discipline and Appeal Rules. In respect of certain private disputes both Civil suits and Criminal suits were pending against the writ petitioner. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P(MD)No.20237/2015 3.However, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents brought to the notice of this Court that the departmental disciplinary proceedings initiated against the writ petitioner was concluded and the punishment of compulsory retirement was issued to the writ petitioner and he was relieved from service.

4. In view of the fact that the punishment of compulsory retirement was issued during the pendency of the writ petition and the writ petitioner was relieved from service, during the period of suspension as eligible leave deserves no further interference. Under these circumstances, if any other grievance exist to the writ petitioner, it is left open to her to adjudicate the same in the manner known to law.

5.With these observations, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
