ORDER
The instant writ petition has been filed by a Driver of the respondent transport corporation, seeking a mandamus as against the respondents herein to rectify the petitioner's pay anomaly by stepping up of his last drawn pay on par with his junior P.Ammavasai, Staff No.DR08091, and direct the respondents to pay him the difference in arrears of salary and other consequential benefits with 6% interest.
2.Seeking the above said benefits, the petitioner herein has sent a representation to the second respondent herein on 29.06.2024, which has also been acknowledged by the second respondent. However, so far no orders have been passed by the second respondent herein, hence the present writ petition has been filed.

3.Considering the above said facts, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the writ petitioner for stepping up of the pay and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.With the above said observations, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
