This criminal original petition has been filed to quash the impugned FIR in Crime No.88 of 2020 registered on the file of the first respondent.

2.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the final report was filed as early as 02.09.2020 but cognizance is yet to be taken. It is for the jurisdictional Magistrate Court to take a call in the matter. Such a decision will be taken by the jurisdictional Magistrate within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. All the contentions of the petitioner are left open.
