Vedarpuliyangulam Panchayat within the time to be stipulated by this Court.

ORDER
The petitioner would submit that the profile of the petitioner had been misused by the second respondent and the benefit under the Group Scheme Green House had been given to the third party, who had constructed a house and therefore, he has filed the present writ petition to direct the first respondent to take action against the second respondent.
2. Mr.Veerakathiravan, learned Additional Advocate General would submit that pursuant to the enquiry that was conducted, the first respondent had identified one Neelamegam and Chandrasekaran, who
were working as Assistant Executive Engineers at the relevant time and had also issued charge memos against them on 13.11.2023.
3. Ms.M.Aasha, learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) had filed a status report through the impleaded third respondent indicating that pursuant to the complaint that had been received by them, an FIR had also been registered in Crime No.282/2023 at Austinpatti Police Station and was transferred to the District Crime Branch, Madurai by order of the Superintendent of Police, Madurai, dated 01.02.2024 and after examining the witnesses, an FIR had also been registered under the very same crime number, in which the petitioner had been named as the first accused.
4. In view of the initiation of disciplinary proceedings against the two named officers and also the status report filed by the third respondent indicating that criminal cases are under active investigation, I do not find any reason to issue any further direction to the first respondent.
5. In such view of the matter, no further orders are required to be made in this writ petition and the Writ Petition is accordingly, closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
