ORDER

It is very unfortunate, the accused in C.C.No.287 of 2023 have approached this Court that the trial proceedings in C.C.No.287 of 2023 is pending from the year 2023 and therefore, they sought for a direction to the trial Court to complete the trial proceedings in C.C.No.287 of 2023 within a stipulated time.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submits that the case is posted on 04.09.2025 for cross examination of L.W.1 to L.W.3.

3. Since it is reported that the case is posted on 04.09.2025 for cross examination of witnesses, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the trial Court, namely, the District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate Court, Ottapidaram, to examine the witnesses on 04.09.2025 without fail. The petitioners have to cross examine the witnesses, who are examined on 04.09.2025, without fail. The trial Court shall not grant any further time for the purpose of cross examination. In the event, if the accused/petitioners fail to cross examine the witnesses, who are present 2/4

before the Court on 04.09.2025, the trial Court shall not entertain any application to recall the witnesses.
