ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 to 4 to initiate appropriate action against the respondents 5 to 7 for obstructing the flow of water from Pudhu Kanmai in Survey No.146 to the lands of the petitioner in Survey Nos. 125/7A, 125/7B, 148/1A, 148/3B, 148/3D, 140/5C, 140/5D, 174/12, 148/5B and 148/1B, Kanakki village, Aruppukottai taluk, Virudhunagar District, for irrigation purposes.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the respondents 5 to 7 are obstructing the flow of water from Pudhu Kanmai to the petitioner's land, due to which, the petitioner is unable to irrigate his lands.

The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 would submit that the petitioner has made a representation dated 23.03.2023 to respondents 1 to 3 and based on that representation, the second respondent would conduct enquiry and pass appropriate orders within the time stipulated by this Court.
4. I have given due consideration to the submissions made on either sides.
5. Since a representation has already been made by the petitioner to the respondents 1 to 3, the second respondent who is the appropriate authority is directed to consider the same and pass appropriate orders, on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. 11.12.2025 Speaking / Non-speaking order Index : Yes/No NCC : Yes/No mbi 3/5
