ORDER

The instant writ petition has been filed by a retired Driving Instructor of the respondent transport corporation, seeking interest for the belated disbursement of his terminal benefits.

2.According to the learned Counsel appearing for the writ petitioner, the petitioner has attained superannuation on 30.09.2017 and his terminal benefits were settled belatedly. Seeking interest for the belated settlement, the petitioner has sent a representation to the respondent on 10.06.2024. Since there is no response, the present writ petition has been filed. 3.Considering the above said facts, the respondents authorities are directed to pay 6% interest from the due date till the date of disbursement within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/5

4.With the above said observations, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
