O R D E R

The present Civil Revision Petition has been by the petitioner under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, against the order in I.A.No.250 of 2014 in O.S.No.149 of 2012 dated 27.06.2016 on the file of the Sub Court, Srivilliputtur.

2. It appears that on appearance of the both parties before the Tamil Nadu Mediation and Conciliation Centre, Madurai Bench of Madras High Court, all the issues and demands in respect of the instant Civil Revision Petition No.2489 of 2016 have been amicably settled between the parties.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner brought to the notice of this Court the terms of the Mediation Award, dated 11.08.2023, which is as follows:

" The following settlement has been arrived between the parties hereto:

a. Now as per the resolution dated 15.01.2023 2/5

C.A.Dhamodaran assumed office of president and he is the signing authority on behalf of respondent (Copy of the resolution dated 15.01.2023 annexed with this agreement). The respondent agree to pay a sum of Rs.4,00,000 (Four Lakhs) only to the petitioner within a period of 10 months from today i.e 11.08.2023 and the said Rs.4,00,000/- (Four Lakhs) shall not carry any interest. No further time shall be granted to the respondent for paying the above said amount to the revision petitioner.

b. Recording the above terms. Both the parties are agreed to settle the matter amicably.

7. By signing this Agreement the parties hereto state that they have no further claims or demands against each other with respect to C.R.P(MD) No. 2489 of 2016 and all disputes and differences in this regard have been amicably settled by the parties hereto through the process of conciliation/Mediation."

4. It is submitted by the learned counsel on either side that the issues have been amicably resolved and a Mediation Report dated 11.08.2023 has been filed. The same is taken on record and it shall form part of this order. 3/5

5. In the result, this Civil Revision Petition stands disposed of in terms of the Mediation Report. In the event of default in compliance of the Mediation Report, the petitioner can execute the Mediation agreement, and the petitioner can proceed with by treating the mediation agreement as a decree. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
